+ How do I lease a loft at The Lamar?

To lease a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment in Macon at The Lamar, fill out the information form on our Lease Now tab and our Leasing Specialist will follow up with an information packet. + What do I pay before moving into The Lamar?

You'll pay a non-refundable $300 fee to reserve your unit + $700 security deposit that's due upon lease signing. Your first month's rent will also be due before moving into The Lamar.

+ What do I bring to sign a lease?

Be sure to have the following when you're ready to sign your lease:

  • Your drivers license
  • Download and fill out our Rental Application ($50 fee for credit/background check)
  • A check, money order, cashier's check or debit/credit card charge for $300

+ How long is the lease agreement?

A lease at The Lamar will be a one year agreement, beginning the first of the month and ending the 31st of the last month. Payments are broken into 12 equal installments.

+ Can I take a tour of The Lamar?

Yes! We'd love to give you a tour of your future apartment and home in Downtown Macon. Fill out our Schedule a Tour form or call 478.257.7979 and we'll work around your schedule to get you an inside look at The Lamar.

+ Where is long-term parking?

Our friends at Damaste Real Estate manage the ideal parking garage for our tenants: secure and centrally located on Cherry Street, just two short blocks from The Lamar. They offer parking spaces around $35/month with coded access. They can be reached at 478.741.0040.

+ What kind of amenities does The Lamar offer?

The Lamar offers a secured access community walking distance from Mercer Law, Medical Center, Navicent Health, shops, restaurants & more. Two shops will be located onsite, high speed internet & HD cable included, private community courtyard and more. On-site storage units are available for an additional fee. + Does The Lamar come with appliances?

Apartments at The Lamar feature stainless steel appliances including an oven with range, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Additionally, each unit will have a private full-size front load washer and dryer.

+ Do The Lamar lofts include furniture?

+ Is The Lamar pet-friendly?

Yes, The Lamar is a dog and cat-friendly community. A non-refundable pet fee of $300 for pets up to 40 lbs. ($400 for pets over 40 lbs.) will be due at lease signing. This is in addition to the non-refundable $300 Security Deposit.

+ When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. You can bring your rent check by the lobby office or pay online with our Resident Platform.

+ What is included in rent?

Rent at The Lamar includes high speed internet, water & sewer, HD cable, and access to The Lamar's amenities.

+ How do I renew my lease?

We encourage you to renew early to reserve your spot for the next year at The Lamar. You can renew by contacting Nina Inglett at 478.257.7979.

+ How will I receive mail at The Lamar?

Each apartment will have an individual mailbox located at the mail kiosk in the lobby of The Lamar.
